WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THE PROCEDURE?
Restylane® Defyne is an outpatient skin rejuvenation procedure performed in-office by our dermatologists. Before the injections, your injector may apply a topical numbing cream or inject numbing solution to make the procedure more comfortable for you. The consultation and treatment should not take more than an hour.
IS THERE DOWNTIME ASSOCIATED WITH DEFYNE TREATMENTS?
After your injections, you may experience some redness and swelling, but these symptoms should subside in less than one week. Ice can be applied to the treated areas to help minimize any swelling. One treatment should be sufficient to help you reach your aesthetic goals, but you may undergo touch-up injections at your follow-up appointment.

WHAT IS THE RESTYLANE LYFT TREATMENT?
Injected through very fine needles directly at the treatment area, your Restylane Lyft treatment does not take more than an hour. A few injections may be used depending on the area of treatment and the amount of volume augmentation required. Epinephrine or Lidociane may be applied to minimize discomfort. Recently launched Restylane Lyft-L comes with Lidociane already premixed in the syringe.
WHAT IS THE RECOVERY FROM RESTYLANE LYFT?
After the treatment, most patients return to their normal activities immediately. Some of the injection related side effects like redness, swelling or bruising may occur at the site of treatment. However, these are mild and will resolve on their own within a week or so.
WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT FROM RESTYLANE LYFT?
You should be able to see your results within a day or two. Arnica gel or pills help many patients with any associated swelling and bruising allowing you to get back to your routine quicker. Your results from Restylane Lyft will typically last for up to 8 to 10 months. There may be a requirement for an additional treatment or Restylane may be used to supplement optimal results.

Restylane® Refyne is intended for the treatment of smile lines with mild to moderate depth. These smile lines can run from the nose to the corner of the mouth or from the sides of the mouth down to the chin. Since Refyne is intended for mild lines, it is important to consult with your injector before treatment.
Restylane® also offers another filler called Defyne which is intended to treat the same area but for lines that are moderate to severe in depth. If you are in good general health and have realistic expectation for this minimally invasive procedure, Refyne may be right for you.

Restylane® Refyne is performed in-office on an outpatient basis. Prior to your treatment, your injector may apply a topical numbing cream or inject a dental block or numbing solution for your comfort. The treatment itself should take no longer than an hour.
IS THERE DOWNTIME ASSOCIATED WITH REFYNE TREATMENTS?
Post treatment, you will most likely experience some minor swelling and redness near the injection site. These side effects should not last more than one week. Your injector may require a checkup after two weeks to look at the results. One treatment may be sufficient, though more may be required. Patients can enjoy smoother, younger skin for up to 12 months.
WHAT KIND OF RESULTS CAN I EXPECT?
After treatment, patients can expect to see the depth of their facial lines and folds reduce and soften. The filler will fill in the depressions in the skin, giving a very natural, youthful look. While the lines will be improved, your ability to express emotion will not change and you will still look and feel like yourself.
